This musical concert is presented by the combined choirs and directors of music of the Emmaus Church Choir led by John Guarino, Lake Travis United Methodist Church Choir led by Patty Highland and The Lakeway Church Choir led by Mark Savage-Rains.
More than 60 voices will join to sing a presentation of hymns such as “Come, Ye Thankful People, Come,” “O God, Hour Help in Ages Past,” as well as powerful and sensitive settings of scripture in anthems written by Mark Hayes, Taylor Davis and Allen Pote.
Accompanist and organist Elden Little from The Lakeway Church and the Lake Travis UMC Handbell Choir along with violin and trumpet will accompany the combined choirs.
This annual concert benefits the Lake Travis Crisis Ministries center that helps individuals and families in the Lake Travis community with basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and health-care.
A free-will, love offering will be collected to support this vital ministry to persons in crisis. All of the offerings received will go to Lake Travis Crisis Ministries.
