By virtue of beating Anderson twice this season, the Lake Travis boys soccer team claimed the No. 2 seed in District 15-5A.

The two teams tied with 28 points, but the Cavs beat the Trojans 1-0 Feb. 8 and 2-1 March 4.

The Cavaliers will take on District 16-5A’s Round Rock 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex (“The Palace on Parmer”).

Girls soccer

The Lady Cavaliers soccer team finished second in District 15-5A this season, landing them a first-round playoff match with the number three team from District 16-5A, Hendrickson.

Though the time won’t be determined until Wednesday because District 16-5A’s season finished Tuesday night, the location and date are set for the bidistrict match.

Lake Travis will be the home team, but will play Hendrickson, which was 7-4-1 in district, at House Park 7 p.m. Thursday.

The top four teams are locked in for District 15-5A.

*Austin High and Anderson still had one match left to be played, but that will not affect the Lady Cavaliers as Lake Travis beat Austin High and tied (eventually losing in a shootout) in the other meeting.
