The Lake Travis tennis team shows off its wares from the Westwood Invitational March 28.

The Lake Travis tennis team is headed into the district tournament Monday and Tuesday with high hopes.

At the Westwood Invitational March 28, Lake Travis was able to clinch some top seeds with their play.

The girls doubles duo of Ryan Brown and Courtney Schulte topped the tandem from Klein 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 to win the Westwood championship.

In the No. 1 boys singles bracket, Tristan Wise edged out Charles Tan from Westlake to take the 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 third-place, earning him the top seed in the upcoming district tournament.

Also, Carli Knezevich and Remi Immler came in third at Westwood.

The district tourney will be held at the University of Texas Intramural Courts, and regionals are scheduled for April 15-19 in Waco.

Girls Doubles

Ryan Brown/Courtney Schulte – champions – A draw

Carli Knezevich/Remi Immler – 3rd place – A draw

Girls Singles:

Raven Hampton – won consolation – A draw

Boys Doubles:

Adam Dokos/Nick Ruzicka – won consolation – A draw

BG Slay/Erik Kerrigan – champions – B draw

Boys Singles:

Tristan Wise – 3rd place – A draw

Tyler Wilkie – 2nd place – B draw

Mixed Doubles:

Camille Muscariello/Jay Spiers – 2nd place – B draw
